We know it's been a while since we've posted anything. Shawn has been busy finishing his second semester and I've been working. Shawn now has 2 weeks off and watched a round of students graduate this past Friday. He'll be next to graduate in December! To celebrate the semester break, we went out to a BBQ with some other CMU students at Glenelg Beach around sunset. And sorry...no shrimp on the barbie this time. It was mostly chicken and beef plus we brought our usual Mexican layered dip which stole the show again!
We'll be leaving this Sunday, August 28th for our Queensland vacation to see the Great Barrier Reef, Brisbane and Gold Coast. We're looking forward to the one-week trip away from the cold city of Adelaide. The climate there is a lot more tropical but mild considering it's winter. Queensland is also the state that suffered from the bad cyclone around January (equivalent to our hurricane but spins counter-clockwise). We'll take lots of pictures and share on our blog later.
